| I picked up a JBJ 24g. It's not an upgrade in size but I'll be able to hide all my equipment. I just have to order a InTank media basket and I new skimmer, I don't really like the one I have now, and transfer all the other equipment over. | |

| Thanks for showing me that deal. Do you intend on upgrading the lighting in it? | |

I won't be using the factory top. I plan on using the chinese 120w bridgelux light I have now right away, but I plan on upgrading to something APEX ready.

| Maybe an ai sol nano. That's what I'm kicking around. Down the road though. | |

| I got my tank today and it's busted. The box looks like UPS played forklift hockey with it. | |

I haven't read to many good things about the Nano. I'd really like an Apex ready unit, but I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on a Reefbreeders Photon - sisterlimonpot wrote:

The lady I talked to at Dr foster smith was really nice, I'm impressed with there customer support. The shipped out a new one so hopefully this one gets to me in 1 piece.

| I called my wife, and my box is ok. Sorry about yours! Well, after looking more into it, I'm picking up some radion pucks from someone who upgraded. I'll install them in the rapid led retrofit heatsink. | |

| Got my replacement tank in the mail and this one was good. I picked up a heater and should be getting a skimmer from CJ soon. I still have to decide on lights. | |

| I'm going to put one puck from a radion on mine. I set mine up, one led was burnt out. How's the rest of your tank looking? Are you going to take the canopy off? | |

| I'm taking the canopy off. I'm going with an Eshopps psk-75h for a skimmer, the new ones come with a Sicce pump. Plans are to make the middle chamber a refugium and upgrade the pump to a Cobalt mj1200. I'm contemplating going bare bottom. | |

| I've done bare bottom before, I like that you can go high flow, but sand looks more natural. | |

| I got a used gen 1 Radion which should be in the mail tomorrow. I'm going to be upgrading the Radion to a gen 3, I'm not sure if I'm going to go with the regular version or the pro, it's a $100 difference. I've got a hanging kit and an Apex WXM coming also. The only things I have left to get is a Cobalt M1200 to replace the stock pump on the new cube and a skimmer CJ is supposed to be getting.

| I wouldn't get the pro, I really don't see the need for the yellow leds. Also check into a sycra 1.5 for a return pump. Those pumps are silent and put out a little more than the mj1200. | |

| I ran into a problem with the Radion, I don't have a windows laptop to program it. | |

| Lol, you can dual boot your Apple computer, if you want. I thought you could use apple? If you want, bring it with and we will set it up at my house. | |

| Oh, lol, well either way, bring it by, and we will set it up here. I can put the acclimate timer on for you too. | |

| I sent my Radion off on Friday to get it upgraded to the 3g pro. I can't wait to get it back. I'm still undecided on bare bottom, black sand, or oolite. | |

| LMK how you like the pro! I wouldn't go bare bottom again. Black would be cool, but oolite is more natural. | |
